Today, 22nd March 2008, people of Taiwan, determines their future by choosing the new president. There are two president candidates, Ma Ying Jeou from Nationalist Party Kuomintang (KMT) and Frank Hsieh from Democratic Progressive Party (DPP). According to the latest pooling, Ma wins 20 points compare to Hsieh.

- once as a mayor
- have a good relationship with Greater China

Whosoever chosen as the president of Taiwan will dilute the relationship between Taiwan and Greater China.
